TRIRATNA INTENSIVE: for regular meditators with 2 years+ experience of retreats, centres or groups.

Awareness Always Unfolding

With Vijayamala

May 29 - June 5, 2026

In this week we shall focus on the Root Verses of the Six Bardos, a Tibetan text believed to have been written by Padmasambhava. The Bardos are different modes in which the mind functions: the waking state, dreaming, dying, experiencing reality unmediated by the physical senses, and taking rebirth. We shall explore what all this means for us as Dharma practitioners, especially the implications for how we work with our experience here and now, and how we can prepare for death when it comes.
The retreat will include presentations  and guided meditations, devotional practice, meditation reviews and some days of silence.

Suitable for experienced meditators.

Vijayamala will be supported by Darasvini on this retreat.
Sorry to say Nagesvara is no longer able to co-lead this retreat.

RETREAT CATEGORY: TRIRATNA INTENSIVE

To attend this retreat you will need to have been regularly meditating for at least two years and regularly attend retreats, a centre or a group within the context of the Triratna Buddhist Community. You must also be comfortable with extended periods of sitting meditation, Buddhist devotional practice and spending most of the retreat in silence.

Please read our booking and cancellation policies and FAQs before booking.
