To attend this retreat you will need to have been regularly meditating for at least two years and regularly attend retreats, a centre or a group within the context of the Triratna Buddhist Community. You must also be comfortable with extended periods of sitting meditation, Buddhist devotional practice and spending most of the retreat in silence.
We will encourage a sense of trust and service towards the world in which we find ourselves. Recognising that, just as the mind is embodied, the body too is inseparable from the world in which it exists. In order to trust the world, we must first trust our own imagination through which we experience in the world. To be fully present in the world, we have to learn to imagine ourselves in our individuality as an integral part of the world and as something also precious to the whole world.
